{"id":5929,"date":"2009-06-27T18:27:00","date_gmt":"2009-06-27T17:27:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.filmdetail.com\/?p=5929"},"modified":"2009-06-27T18:29:42","modified_gmt":"2009-06-27T17:29:42","slug":"alien-trailer-tops-ifc-list","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.filmdetail.com\/2009\/06\/27\/alien-trailer-tops-ifc-list\/","title":{"rendered":"Alien trailer tops IFC list"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.ifc.com\/news\/2009\/06\/50-greatest-trailers.php\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-5930\" title=\"50 Trailers IFC\" src=\"http:\/\/www.filmdetail.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/06\/50-Trailers-IFC.jpg\" alt=\"50 Trailers IFC\" width=\"480\" height=\"243\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.ifc.com\/\">IFC<\/a><\/strong> recently posted a listed of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ifc.com\/news\/2009\/06\/50-greatest-trailers.php\">The 50 Greatest Trailers of All Time<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>As so often with these kinds of list, there are some <a href=\"http:\/\/www.urbandictionary.com\/define.php?term=wtf+slang\">WTF<\/a> inclusions (Red Eye?!) but there are also many worth a look.<\/p>\n<p>However, it is <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ifc.com\/news\/2009\/06\/50-greatest-trailers.php?page=51\">the Number 1 entry<\/a> of <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Alien_(film)\">Alien<\/a><\/strong> that you should really check out if you haven&#8217;t ever seen it.<\/p>\n<p><object classid=\"clsid:d27cdb6e-ae6d-11cf-96b8-444553540000\" width=\"480\" height=\"385\" codebase=\"http:\/\/download.macromedia.com\/pub\/shockwave\/cabs\/flash\/swflash.cab#version=6,0,40,0\"><param name=\"allowFullScreen\" value=\"true\" \/><param name=\"allowscriptaccess\" value=\"always\" \/><param name=\"src\" value=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/v\/LAZ6aDYcCuw&amp;hl=en&amp;fs=1&amp;\" \/><param name=\"allowfullscreen\" value=\"true\" \/><embed type=\"application\/x-shockwave-flash\" width=\"480\" height=\"385\" src=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/v\/LAZ6aDYcCuw&amp;hl=en&amp;fs=1&amp;\" allowscriptaccess=\"always\" allowfullscreen=\"true\"><\/embed><\/object><\/p>\n<p>The lack of dialogue, haunting sounds and first rate editing all reflect the creepy atmosphere of the film as well not revealing too much (sadly a lost art in recent years).<\/p>\n<p>(N.B.
